Justin Douglas, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience spanning primary care, internal medicine, wound care, preventive health, chronic disease management, and men’s and women’s health.

Justin began his healthcare career in evidence-based practice, clinical research, quality improvement, and care management before transitioning into advanced practice primary care. His clinical background also includes wound care, where he developed experience managing complex and nonhealing wounds, wound debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, ostomy care, biopsies, and other outpatient wound-care needs.

In primary care, Justin provides comprehensive care for adults and appropriate pediatric patients 2 years of age and older, with a focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, health maintenance, mental health, hormone therapy, men’s health, and women’s health. He also provides selected outpatient procedures and services based on individual patient needs and clinical appropriateness.

Justin holds a Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University and completed post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner training at New Mexico State University. He maintains advanced nursing certifications in adult-gerontology acute care and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at East Carolina University.

Justin combines evidence-based medicine with individualized, patient-centered care. He takes the time to understand each patient’s health history, concerns, goals, and circumstances, while working collaboratively with patients to develop practical treatment plans. When a patient’s needs fall outside the scope of primary care, he works with patients to coordinate appropriate specialty care.
