Cardiology

Premier’s Cardiology Division offers diagnosis and treatment of high-risk and complex forms of coronary artery disease and intractable angina (chest pain). Our cardiologists are skilled in the use of interventional cardiology to diagnose and treat such issues as coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and congenital heart disease. Often, blockages of the heart are assessed and removed with the use of interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty and stenting.

About Heart Disease
The term “heart disease” refers to several types of heart conditions. The most common type of heart disease in the United States is coronary artery disease, which affects the blood flow to the heart. Decreased blood flow can cause a heart attack.
