The mission of Premier Cares Foundation is to provide support, education, awareness and treatment to those individuals in our community lacking sufficient funds to address significant urologic and digestive issues including but not limited to prostate and colon cancer.
Premier Cares Foundation wants to ensure that no one goes without diagnosis and treatment of urologic and gastrointestinal conditions. The physicians at Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley have always believed that part of their professional obligation is to support the community in which they live and practice. Premier Cares Foundation, Inc. grew from that belief and an idea that there were unmet needs within our community. With the changing economy, more people than ever are limited in their ability to get the medical supportive services that they need and deserve.
Through community events and fundraisers, such as our annual Prostate Cancer Walk and the Colon Cancer Awareness Day we are able to bring awareness about such illnesses. Prostate Cancer is one of the most curable types of cancer if detected early. Sadly, over 32,000 men die from the disease each year. Similarly, Colon Cancer is one of the top killers for both men and women, but is curable in many cases when detected early. Premier Cares Foundation wants the public to learn about preventative care, as early detection is the key to the best outcome for all urologic and GI diseases. We don’t want people to miss their “window” for cure
Premier Cares Foundation is a fully credited tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
