The mission of Premier Cares Foundation is to provide financial support, education, and awareness to those individuals in our community lacking sufficient funds to address significant urologic and digestive issues including but not limited to prostate and colon cancer.
A Hudson Valley native, Gia McCormack resides in Hopewell Junction with her husband Pat and two sons Jack and Joey. Gia is a graduate of Siena College with a B.A in Political Science. She began her career in development working for the United Way of Dutchess County as their Associate Campaign Director. Later for The American Cancer Society as their Relay For Life Manager. Gia has over 15 years experience working with volunteers, donors and large scale fundraisers. In her free time, Gia enjoys cooking, exercising and spending time with her husband and children.
Sara Capozzoli began her career as an intern at a small not for profit organization in Poughkeepsie, NY. Several years later, the organization grew exponentially and she advanced to become the Director of Public, Media, and Corporate Relations. Her career further evolved, and as a consultant, she applied her talents to local organizations and businesses before joining the staff at Premier Cares Foundation. Ms. Capozzoli is responsible for the fundraising efforts of Premier Cares and she is dedicated to advancing its mission. Sara lives in Rhinebeck, NY with her family and enjoys trying new restaurants, taking on DIY home projects, and living an active life in the Hudson Valley.
A Hudson Valley resident for the past 15 years, Marilyn resides in Hopewell Junction with her 2 children Jack and Leah. She is a graduate of Hofstra University with a B.B.A. in Marketing. Marilyn began her career in New York City working in national advertising Sales for Rysher Entertainment and then Paramount Pictures. After moving to the Hudson Valley, she sold local cable advertising for Cablevision before leaving sales and branching out as a consultant to a variety of independent businesses specific to their Marketing and Administrative responsibilities. Still a Jersey girl at heart, Marilyn enjoys spending time with friends and family at the beach, hiking, exercising, learning, and discovering what new restaurants and adventures the Hudson Valley has to offer.
