At Premier Medical Group, we care about our community. That’s why our physicians are donating a day of free colonoscopy screenings for those in need. We want people to know that health insurance should not be an obstacle to cancer screening.
Colon Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Like all cancers, no one knows exactly what causes it. Fortunately, when found in the early stages, colorectal cancer is highly treatable and in many cases, preventable. Adults ages 50 and older should begin receiving regular colon screenings. People with a family history of colon cancer should discuss screenings at an earlier age with their doctor. Scheduling regular screenings is the primary way to discover colorectal cancer in its early and most treatable stages.
If you are uninsured or underinsured please submit the form below, share your story, and you will be eligible to receive a free colonoscopy screening. You must complete the form before March 31, 2017 in order to be eligible. The winners will be contacted in the first week of April.
