Over 500 people came out to the 3rd Annual “Challenge Your Colon” Chili Festival: Celebrating the Local Culinary Flavors of the Hudson Valley. This family-friendly event featured vendors serving up their prize chili and cornbread recipes, plus other specialties such as cheeses, salsa and desserts. Arlington Wine and Liquor served tasting portions of delicious wines and Dutchess Beer Distributors, Mill House Brewing Company and Hyde Park Brewing Company showcased fabulous tastings of beers. The event also featured Bob Stump and the Blue Mountain Band, dancing, “pasta tastings”, and games and activities for children. Joe Daily from 92.1 Lite FM was our MC of the event and award ceremony. Thank you to Dena Delaney for speaking on her experiences with Colon Cancer, from diagnosis to recovery.
