Dr. Samir Derisavifard is a board-certified urologist with advanced fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, bladder pain, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, and other complex urologic conditions affecting both women and men.

Dr. Derisavifard earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School before completing his urology residency at the Smith Institute for Urology at Northwell Health. He then completed a highly specialized fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic’s Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute, one of the nation’s premier centers for urologic care. He is board certified in Urology and holds subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Derisavifard is actively involved in clinical research and medical education. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributed to leading urology textbooks, and presented his research nationally and internationally. His work has focused on innovative treatments for pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, neuromodulation, bladder health, and reconstructive urology. His research has earned multiple honors, including the International Continence Society Best Podium Presentation Award and the American Urological Association Research Scholar Award.
